Stayed on top 5th floor with river view - Very good location about 5 minutes drive to the Old Bridge away from tourist area. A perfect stay for a morning run/bike with a stunning view 10-20 km loop along the Nectar River to the old town - Very comfortable room, clean sheet - no bugs / dusts and bed with a dark curtain. Very clean - My wife and son are allergic to dust and didn't have any during the stay. Good breakfast and coffee selection - free coffee break and snack during the day. Excellent service and friendly staff. Spacious underground parking 25 euro/night.

Reading the comments left here, I must agree that the hotel is due for renovations. There are some areas that require some TLC and modernization. We stayed in room 302 facing the river. The bed a queen size was comfortable, the bathroom ok... carpeting and furniture for a 2023 4/5 star hotel has seen better days. However, if you're not looking for what to complain about, it's fine! The full breakfast is a bit expensive however, your selection is big and it's all you can eat. If you compare with a local brunch restaurant, you will pay a bit less (€37 for 2 pax), but you only get what you pay for... so stop complaining ! 🙄 yes, it is European prices... German tax is high, and to survive, products and services are higher compared to the US. So stay home and stop complaining.

The desk staff was extremely helpful in re-arranging rooms so that the chlidren could have their room and still be connected to the parents room. The breakfast, apart from having an excellent choice, had staff that were super friendly and helpful, fully understanding the little kids needs. In sthort: - top level staff friendlyness - breakfast choice and service - size of rooms - flexibility of the hotel to change things to accommodate customer needs

We loved everything about our stay here. We spent time by the pool, relaxing after our long journey. I had the best massage of my life the next evening. We loved that you can get complementary coffee in the morning without having to buy breakfast. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our bed was comfortable, the room was quiet. It honestly didn't feel like a 4-star stay, more like a 5-star stay. Suffice to say, we're planning our next trip here

The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the room's view onto the Neckar River was really beautiful. It was a joy to watch ducks and rowers on the river. The view from the hotel's restaurant outside deck area is just as nice.

The shower was good (in Europe, you never quite know what to expect), the bed was comfortable, the restaurant was good but they added the 15% tip on the bill. I would have tipped them anyway (I would have done 10%), but that is a bit rude forcing the tip on us.

The room was clean, with a view over the river and bigger than we anticipated. The executive lounge was nice for both us adults and the kids, where we watched some football and enjoyed nice drinka and candy from the self service candy bar. The location is very good with only about 20 minute walk to the Altstadt and about 4 to 5 minutes to a nearby tram and bus station. What really made the stay special was the friendly and helpful staff at the restaurant and the reception desk.

Good access to the Main Railway station and public transport, next to the river with a walkway to the old town, friendly staff and luggage storage. Breakfast was good and there was enough space available when it was full. The complementary coffee in the lobby (the cups were quite small 😴) Fast check out.

Breakfast was ok. Overpriced though. I appreciated the River view but wish we had been on a higher floor not right above the roof. I did appreciate the champagne that was in the room for my birthday.

The hotel went over our expectations and was extremely lovely place to visit. There were certain special requests which were handed professionally, with feeling and passion. I have never felt as well treated yet as what Hotel Marriot and the staff made me and my loved feel. Thank you again, we will be visitin in the future again!
